Uniquely ME! Program held by Zeta Mu collegiate

For anyone who does not know, Kappa Delta is a sponsor of the uniquely ME! - Girl Scout/Dove Self-Esteem Program. The program was created in 2002 to address the critical nationwide problem of low self-esteem among adolescent and pre-adolescent girls, to foster self-esteem in girls, ages 8-17. The program helps girls feel better about themselves by helping them develop the skills necessary to face life's challenges.

Zeta Mu, Stacy Lipman has been working with the program in Cherry Hill Baltimore, for a group of 12 girls between the ages of 8-13 years old, and had its final session this past Monday, November 16. Her occupational therapy classmates and herself threw a party for the girls. The girls ate cupcakes, painted nails, and at the end were presented with Uniquely ME! certificates. Stacy said that the girls were overjoyed with a profound sense of accomplishment at having completed the program. Stacy was deeply touched by all of donations that she received from the alumnae chapter. The supplies helped her and her classmates realize the program that they had envisioned for the girls. Stacy would like to send a special thank you to Kay Lehmann, who was so generous in donating 3 bags of materials. Thank you to everyone who helped out with this program!
