Girl Scouts World Thinking Day

The Girl Scouts of Central Maryland will be participating in World Thinking Day, a day when Girl Scouts and Girl Guides in 144 different countriesshow appreciation for the traditions and customs of their global “sisters.” Over 700 local GirlScouts will gather to experience other cultures through activities and performances during the council-wide World Thinking Day celebration. The Service Unit hosting the event will be doing so on March 6, 2010. The topic is Ireland. They are planning a booth for the older girls to earn the Health badge and are looking for a volunteer to research the badge and plan the activities.
